Account Deletion & Data Removal
We can help you leave cleanly.
You can request deletion of your Wocket account and associated personal data at any time.
We do not believe your software provider should make it difficult to leave.
At the same time, account deletion is permanent. Once production data has been removed, it may not be recoverable.
If you need your business records, export them before requesting deletion.
Subscription & leaving — at a glance
These answers come from our subscription policy SSOT (the same rules billing must follow).
| Notice to cancel | None — you may cancel at any time. |
|---|---|
| Auto-renew | Yes. Paid plans renew automatically on a rolling monthly cadence until you cancel. |
| Annual commitment | No. There is no annual commitment on standard rolling monthly plans. |
| Cancellation fees | No cancellation fee. If you choose a mid-period per-diem refund, a $5 banking fee is deducted from the unused-time credit to cover payment processing. |
| Unused-time refund | Yes, if you choose a mid-period refund: unused days are credited per diem, minus $5. Or you may keep using Wocket until your current paid period expires (no refund). |
| Cancel in the app | Yes — cancel in the app under User Hub → Billing. |
| Pricing changes | If we change list pricing, we give at least 30 days’ notice for material changes. Your current paid period stays at the price you already paid; the new price applies at the next renewal after the notice period. |
| Data you can export | You can export your business data before requesting account deletion — including customers, leads, jobs, schedules, invoices, payments, team records, payroll summaries (where enabled), media library records, analytics snapshots, and an all-company data bundle. |
1. Export Your Business Data First
Before requesting account deletion, sign in to Wocket and export any information you need to retain.
Depending on your plan and the features enabled for your account, available exports may include:
- Customers / clients
- Leads / opportunities
- Jobs / work orders
- Schedules
- Invoices
- Payments
- Team / employees
- Payroll summaries
- Media library
- Analytics snapshots
- Other supported business records
- All company data bundle
Export formats may vary depending on the type of information and the export tools available to your account (JSON, CSV, Excel, and PDF where supported).
Important
Export first. Delete second.
Once account deletion is completed, production data may no longer be recoverable.
Cog Mission cannot guarantee that deleted production data can be restored after the deletion process has completed.
2. How to Request Account Deletion
To request deletion:
Step 1 — Export anything you need to keep
Sign in to Wocket and download the business records you want to retain.
Step 2 — Cancel your subscription
If you have an active paid subscription, cancel it in the application under User Hub → Billing.
You may also request cancellation by emailing [email protected].
Cancellation and refund terms are described in the Terms of Service.
Step 3 — Send the deletion request
Email [email protected].
Send the request from the email address associated with your Wocket account.
Please include:
- Your name
- The business or organization name associated with the account, if applicable
- The email address associated with the account
- A clear statement that you are requesting account and data deletion
For example:
Please delete my Wocket account and associated personal data.
Step 4 — Wait for confirmation
We will acknowledge the request by email and may ask for additional information when reasonably necessary to verify that the request is authorized.
Once the deletion process is completed, we will send confirmation by email.
Most requests are completed within a few business days, although requests involving legal, financial, security, or other required retention obligations may take longer.
3. What Happens After You Request Deletion?
Account deletion is a process, not a single button.
Depending on your account and applicable requirements, the process may include:
- Verifying the deletion request
- Deactivating account access
- Removing personal information from active production systems
- Removing or de-identifying associated business information where applicable
- Removing associated files and media where applicable
- Processing applicable data from active operational systems
- Identifying information that must be retained for legal, financial, security, fraud-prevention, or other legitimate purposes
- Completing applicable deletion from backup systems according to our retention and backup schedules
- Sending confirmation when the deletion process is complete
Some information may not be immediately removed from every system.
For example, information contained in backups may remain temporarily until the applicable backup cycle expires.
We do not use retained information for ordinary account operations once the account has been deleted, except where necessary for the purpose for which it was retained.
4. Information We May Be Required to Keep
Deleting your account does not necessarily mean that every record can immediately disappear.
We may retain limited information where required or permitted by law, regulation, legal process, accounting requirements, fraud prevention, security requirements, dispute resolution, or other legitimate business purposes.
Examples may include:
- Tax records
- Payment and transaction records
- Accounting records
- Records necessary to establish or defend legal claims
- Security and audit records
- Fraud-prevention records
- Records subject to legal preservation requirements
Where information must be retained, we limit its use to the applicable purpose and retain it only for as long as reasonably necessary or legally required.
Additional information is available in our Information Security & Data Protection Policy.
5. Subscription Cancellation Is Different From Data Deletion
These are two separate actions.
Cancelling your subscription stops future subscription charges according to the applicable billing terms.
Deleting your account removes your Wocket account and associated data according to this policy.
You can cancel your subscription without immediately deleting your account.
This may be useful if you want to stop future billing while retaining temporary access to your records or completing an export.
Our refund and cancellation rules are described in the Terms of Service.
For standard monthly plans, those rules may include:
- Continuing to use the Service through the end of the paid period; or
- Requesting a prorated refund for unused time, less the $5 banking/payment-processing fee.
6. Requests From Authorized Account Owners
Account and data deletion requests must come from an authorized account owner or another person who can reasonably demonstrate authority to make the request.
If we cannot verify the request, we may ask for additional information before proceeding.
This is not intended to make deletion difficult.
It is intended to prevent someone else from deleting your business.
7. Healthcare & Protected Health Information
If your organization uses Wocket to handle Protected Health Information (PHI), additional requirements may apply.
Where a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is in place, PHI may be subject to contractual, regulatory, legal, or retention requirements that affect how and when information can be deleted.
Do not assume that deleting a Wocket account automatically satisfies your organization's HIPAA record-retention obligations.
Your organization remains responsible for determining what records it is required to retain.
See HIPAA, Protected Health Information (PHI), and Business Associate Agreements (BAA) and your applicable Business Associate Agreement for additional requirements.
8. After Deletion
Once deletion is complete:
- Your Wocket login will be deactivated.
- You will no longer be able to access the account.
- Production data that has been deleted may not be recoverable.
- Any information that must be retained will remain subject to the applicable retention requirements.
- You may no longer be able to access historical exports through Wocket.
- A new Wocket account, if created later, will be treated as a new account unless otherwise agreed.
Please keep your exported business records somewhere safe.
Your software account should not be your only copy of records that your business is required to maintain.

For account deletion requests: [email protected]
Please use the email address associated with your Wocket account whenever possible.
If you have questions before deleting your account, contact us first.
We would rather help you understand what you're about to remove than have you discover afterward that you needed a record you didn't export.
